1. IBAP,  instituto da biodiversidade e das areas protegidas na Guiné-Bissau
 

IBAP is a public institution created to promote biodiversity and for creation and management of protected areas. It focuses its activities on strengthening effective management of ecosystems with a view to conserving biodiversity and supporting sustainable development. In its strategic planning IBAP formulated its vision as follows: "Biodiversity of Guinea-Bissau is conserved in a sustainable manner to benefit the development of present and future generations". This vision enabled the mission of IBAP need: "Managing a participatory and effective protected areas and the strategic resources of biodiversity, enhancing the scientific and traditional knowledge and promoting synergies and partnerships at local, regional and international levels".
